Chamber music groups: Apply for a trip to Montreal, Canada

• Place: Schulich School of Music at McGill University i Montreal, Canada

NMH, being one of the partner institutions, can send one student ensemble and one faculty member to this event. The student group will receive tuition and play at concerts during the festival. In addition, members of each ensemble are assembled into new groups mixing performers from all institutions. Those groups work on new repertoire that will be assigned ahead of the festival and perform it towards the end of the week.

All chamber music groups that only consist of current NMH students can apply.

Travel expenses will be covered by NMH.

The students pay for accommodation and other expenses (i.e. local transport, food) themselves. The organiser will assist in finding affordable accommodation. It is also possible to apply for additional support from NMH's grants (click here to read more about NMH's grants).

One of the chamber group's members must fill out this application form (nettskjema.no).

Application deadline: By the end of Sunday 11 February.

In the application, you must provide information about the repertoire you want to bring with you to the festival (approx. 30-40 minutes of music).
