The world’s largest creature will resurface at the Serendip Festival in February, packed with harps, accordions, strings, woodwinds, and live electronics. Sign up and join Blue Whale and the sinfonietta this spring semester!
New Instrument Combinations
In recent years, we’ve moved further away from the traditional big band setup, aiming to discover new instrument combinations to compose. We create 96 % of our music ourselves and are thrilled with the string players who have joined us – the more, the better! Exotic, endangered wind instruments like the oboe and bassoon are also in demand, and we can never get enough flutes and clarinets of all sizes. Accordion, Hardanger fiddle, harp, French horn – bring it all!
For all of you who play saxophones, trumpets, trombones, or rhythm section instruments, don’t hesitate to sign up. And vocalists – we have thoroughly enjoyed working with singers in recent years and are excited to take this to the next level.
ECTS credits
You’ll earn 2 ECTS credits for each project and gain valuable experience in the rhythmic music scene. (European Jazz Workshop: 3 credits per BIP gathering).
