We are looking for motivated students who want to contribute to a stronger learning community at Master of Music Performance through student-led seminar groups.
We are looking for students who:
- Are enrolled in the second year of the MAUT (Master in Music Performance)
- Have experience with and interest in Masterforum and artistic research
- Have strong organisational skills and strategies for managing master's project work
- Can create a safe, supportive, and trustful group environment

About the initiative
The Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) is launching a pilot project involving student-led seminar groups as part of the Masterforum course for first-year MAUT students. These groups will serve as spaces where students can:
- Present and discuss their projects
- Share experiences
- Strengthen their artistic and academic work
This will be done through peer-initiated collective reflection and feedback.
What we offer
As a group leader, you will gain:
- Valuable experience in teaching and group facilitation
- Additional income (salary according to the Norwegian government pay scale, step 26)
- Flexibility in planning four 2-hour meetings per semester
- (Meeting times will be scheduled in collaboration with the selected group leader(s))
This is initially a pilot project running through summer 2026.
Responsibilities
- Organise and lead four group meetings per semester
- Facilitate individual presentations and group reflections/feedback, with the overarching goal of supporting the students' master projects.
- Maintain communication with the academic coordinator of the Master's forum

• You must be a second-year MAUT (Master in Music Performance) student at NMH
