Want to perform at a festival? Apply for Ljøsblått and Coffee Schmoffee

You can now sign up or apply to perform at one of our festivals. Both Ljøsblått and Coffee Schmoffee have a deadline of 1 October.

Coffee Schmoffee

Coffee Schmoffee is part of the Chamber Music Week. The concept is an informal concert series where anyone can take part and sign up with their chamber group. The concerts take place in the canteen from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 November, 9:00–9:30. Coffee and buns will also be served.

Ljøsblått

The Ljøsblått festival (Norwegian site) is run by folk music students at the Norwegian Academy of Music and has become an annual event for folk music enthusiasts. This year, the festival takes place at Riksscenen and NMH on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November.

Anyone can perform at Ljøsblått, including musicians who are not NMH students. The only requirement is that folk music (from anywhere in the world) forms a significant part of your musical expression.
