There is so much exciting material in the elective course catalogue. If I were to give advice to myself as a student today, I would recommend choosing something different from what I was already doing, and perhaps something especially challenging for me: Improvisation-based Contemporary Music, Studio production, or Folk dance.

About choosing electives

Most students at NMH have electives as part of their studies. If you're wondering when you're supposed to have electives, you can check your programme description. Consider the work load of the electives you're applying for. It will be a fuller timetable if you take f.ex. 5 courses of 5 ECTS credits over one year, than if you take fewer courses with a more extensive work load. Therefore, apply for at least two courses of 15 or 10 ECTS credits to increase the chances of being allocated to one of the courses with a higher work load.

Group courses will only be started if there are enough registered students.

Application deadline is 15 April.
