What is Canvas, what can you find on this platform, what do you use it for and how?

From autumn 2024, NMH is introducing chat in Teams as the main way to communicate simple messages and announcements between students and teachers - when Canvas and email are not sufficient.

How to connect to our wireless network? Which network should you as a student use and how do visitors get access to the Internet?

Your e-mail is found in Office 365. How to set up your e-mail (Outlook), use our storage service in the cloud, OneDrive, and send large attachments trough Filesender.

We have a new print solution called Kofax/Myprint. On this page, you'll find its user guide, as well as how to activate your student card and use it to print, copy and scan.

If you are outside NMH's premises, at home or travelling, you can still access some services that you usually have here at NMH. Log onto our VPN.

Zoom allows you to have video meetings with others. You can share screen, participate by phone and chat.

As a student at NMH, you are given a personal username and password for access to the Academy's IT systems.

What is Studentweb and how to use it.

Get access and introduction to the software you can use in music production. You may download and install Sibelius on your private computer and Ableton Live 10 Intro on an NMH computer.

How can AI assist you as a student? On this website, you will find information on using AI tools as learning support, in work with written assignments, how to refer to its use, and what it is unsuitable for.
